Our Mission

AI is being deployed in decisions that matter: insurance claims, credit approvals, hiring, healthcare. But most organizations have no systematic way to test whether their AI is fair, robust, or compliant.

confora labs exists to change that. We build automated testing, monitoring, and compliance tools that turn regulatory requirements into concrete, repeatable test results. Our goal: make AI governance as rigorous and routine as software testing.

Where We Come From

confora labs was born from applied AI research at Goethe University Frankfurt, as part of the LOEWE transFAIr research program, a publicly funded initiative focused on trustworthy AI in the financial sector.

Today, confora labs is part of spotixx GmbH, based in Frankfurt am Main. We work with insurers, financial institutions, and advisory firms across Europe.

Standards: Not Just Compliance

We don't just build to meet standards. We help shape them. Contributing to DIN standardization committee NA 043-01-42-04 AK 'Vertrauenswürdigkeit', the German mirror to ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 42 WG3.
